The story so far
Solene Yoon is stuck with a bodyguard her father picked, a cold ex-military man who goes where she goes and answers to the job, not to her. When a stranger grabs her at a party, he steps in and says no for her, and Solene threatens to have him fired. In episode 2 her father shows up at the party, tells her there are threats against her and orders the bodyguard to keep her safe and nothing else. Forbidden feelings, a watchful dad and a very short leash.
Why Spice 1
A slow simmer: the tension is a rule neither of them is allowed to break, with the father in the room. Protection, pride and glances build slowly, and the free episodes stay with the tension, not the heat.
