How new series land in the feed

The feed moves in steps rather than minute by minute. Each time we run a Candy count, we compare the list against the previous one. Anything that wasn't there before gets a screen of its own and a spice level, and it takes a spot at the top of this feed. That first level is a first reading: levels are groups across the whole feed, so a new count can nudge it.

The first days are the best time to try one. With an open series you can start the opener without setting anything up, and the next episode wants nothing beyond a free sign-up. That makes a fresh arrival the cheapest bet around: about a minute to find out whether the premise works. Free access is Candy's call and it can change, and we could not check how long any episode stays free, so the safe habit is to watch the opener while it's there.

A new Spicy series plays by other rules. It shows only a cover, since it has no public episodes, and it wants Premium from the first episode. If one lands, the feed tells you it exists and gives you its level. The rest happens on Candy.
