The story so far
The old king marries a woman exactly his son's age, and with the entire court watching the prince must kneel and call her mother. That night she slips into his chambers anyway, and what he sees on her shoulder shows she is no ordinary queen. She is an enemy spy. Episode 2 opens with him keeping her secret and realizing that silence already makes him a traitor, while her brother's army rides toward the gates and a choice is due.
Why Spice 1
Level one, a slow simmer. Palace intrigue outweighs skin: a prince, his father's new wife and a secret that could ruin a court. The free episodes spend their time on confessions, glances and a hard choice, not on bold scenes.
